FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

Still unsure? Call us on 03 8824 0712 and we’ll talk it through.

Do you provide physiotherapy inside aged care homes?
Yes! We visit residents directly in the aged care facility. All sessions are completed in their room, gym, or any space the facility allows.
How does external aged care physiotherapy work?
The process is simple, you can contact us directly, and we will sort the rest for you! We will speak with the facility directly, and discuss with the care team to work together. Once everything is set up, we will come and provide our mobile physiotherapy service.
When does someone need additional physiotherapy?
Most aged care due to the high demand, only offers limited physiotherapy and most exercises are generalised. Our service benefits those who are looking for more focused and personalised interventions to ensure residents get the focused attention they need.
How quickly can you start?
We can normally see new residents within 1 week. If the situation is urgent (e.g., recent fall, sudden decline, hospital discharge), we will always try to arrange a time sooner.
What can we expect during the first visit?
Our aged care physiotherapists will bring all necessary equipment. We complete a full assessment of strength, mobility, balance, and pain levels. If you have any medical letters, hospital reports, or X-ray/scans handy, these are helpful if you can share a copy to us.
Do you help with post-hospital rehabilitation?
Absolutely! We regularly help residents who are returning to aged care after surgery, fractures, illness, or a decline in mobility.
