Success Story
Journey to Recovery.
This is a story about one of our patient, let’s call him Ted to keep them anonymous. Ted had a severe fall and spent six months in hospital. He was bed-bound and simple tasks like rolling or sitting up were very challenging.
This shows that even after long-term immobility, recovery is possible with the right guidance and structured home physiotherapy program.
This is what we did:
- Began with gentle seated exercises in bed to engage core and back muscles
- Progressed the exercises harder
- Introduced strength and balance training progressively
Results:
- Ted can now sit independently for hours
- He can stand for a few seconds with help
- He has built confidence that he can continue to improve
