Pricing & Funding
Pricing & Funding
Most of our clients pay little or nothing out of pocket — mobile physiotherapy is covered by a range of funding programs. Here’s how it works.
How it’s funded
Ways to fund your physiotherapy.
We work with all the major funding streams for in-home physiotherapy across Melbourne. Tell us your situation and we’ll confirm your options and any costs up front — no surprises.
NDIS
We’re a registered NDIS provider. We deliver mobile physiotherapy for self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, billed to your plan in line with the NDIS Price Guide.
Home Care Package
If you have a Home Care Package, physiotherapy can be funded from your package budget. We work with your provider and case manager to arrange regular visits.
Support at Home
Under the Support at Home program, in-home physiotherapy is funded as part of your allied health supports. We’ll liaise with your provider to get you started.
DVA
Gap-free mobile physiotherapy for eligible Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients with a valid referral — no out-of-pocket cost to you.
TAC
Recovering from a transport accident? For approved TAC clients we bill TAC directly, so you can focus on getting better in the comfort of home.
WorkCover
Injured at work? With an accepted WorkCover claim we bill your insurer directly for approved physiotherapy — no upfront cost while your claim is active.
Medicare (CDM/EPC)
With a GP Chronic Disease Management (CDM/EPC) plan, Medicare covers a set number of allied health visits each calendar year. A small gap fee may apply.
Private / self-funded
No funding? No problem — and no referral needed. Private session rates are quoted on enquiry, based on your location and care needs.
Private health insurance
If your “extras” cover includes physiotherapy, you can claim part of each session through your private health fund. We provide an itemised receipt so you can claim straight back from your insurer.
My Aged Care (CHSP)
Through My Aged Care and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), eligible older Australians can access subsidised in-home physiotherapy. We’ll help you understand your referral and entitlements.
Fees are charged in line with each program’s schedule (for example, the NDIS Price Guide). Private and self-funded rates are quoted on enquiry, as they depend on your location and care needs. Contact us for a quote.
We don’t just help you feel better — we help you stay mobile and independent, at home, with Khy Physio.
